The owner of the Hong Kong Eatery, Johnny Chu, is intent on bringing his business into the 21st century and beyond.
As the son of the founder, Johnny has been in the restaurant business since he was a teenager. In this over 30 years of experience, first working with his parents, he has seen the business world change. In order to grow and promote his restaurant business, Johnny has accepted that he too has to be on the internet.
For the benefit of the visitor's to the site, the design of the site is deceptively simple. The information one would expect for a restaurant site, such as menu, location and directions is all there. However, this simplicity hides the fact that the site is completely database driven and is easily updated. Menu adjustments, links to reviews or interesting websites can be made quickly and easily, making updates available immediately. Literally, it takes seconds to make updates or additions to the website.
Getting a basic website up is a necessity in this day and age. However, the work does not end there. Growing and changing the site over time is more important because of the message it sends. to regulars and new customers alike. In the coming months, additional features, such as high quality profession images of the food served, will be added to the site.
